The second Supersport TT held back for 24 hours because of the rain on Wednesday was short lived for Davy. He was confident of a top fifteen result and hopefully some more points for the Privateers Championship, but an electrical problem brought an end to those hopes and saw him retire at Quarry Bends on the opening lap - Day Over.

A dejected Davy speaking later, "I went over Ballagarey and it just died so that was it, i am totally gutted."
