After Wednesday's disappointment when a broken oil pressure switch on the Strangford Holiday Park Suzuki resulted in a first lap retirement at Sulby, and no more track time. It was back to business on Thursday and a late start with the sidecars going first meaning there was limited time so it was going to be only two laps, one on the Strangford Holiday Park Suzuki and one on the CSC Branson R1, which will hopefully handle a lot better after some drastic adjustments.

It was the Strangford Holiday Park Suzuki first up and Davy was a bit nervous as he headed out with the oil problem from last night still on his mind so it was a steady run around and make sure everything is okay. He still managed to up his time to 18 min 52.85 @ 119.899mph and it would have been higher as an off at Kate's Cottage saw yellow flags and he had to roll it off.

It had to be a quick change over tonight with the shortened session and Davy was heading down Bray Hill pretty sharp and immediately he knew that the changes to the CSC Branson R1 Superstock Yamaha had worked as it was handling a lot better. So much so that he did his first 120mph lap at the 2010 TT in 18 min 51.00 secs. That was it for the night and so now look forward to Fridays final practice and then the Superbike TT Race on Saturday.

Davy speaking afterwards commented, "Happy enough tonight and two steady laps and its good to break the 120mph although it was on the wrong bike. The changes to the R1 have really worked and its handling a lot better which shows on the lap time. I would have been well over the 120mph on the Suzuki as well, but the yellow flags were out at Kates so i rolled it off and did not push as hard down the mountain. I am putting really quick sectors together so its just a case now of putting them all together in one lap so come race time its all down to me as the bikes are all good."
