Morgan
wins Superbike Race at Bush
The Irish
Championship Open Race was next for Davy and on
the Strangford Holiday Park GSXR1000 Suzuki it
was to be a stunning display in a fantastic race
........ A
delighted, but tired Davy said afterwards,
“I want to dedicate that win to my dad,
Stanley who died last year.” He
continued, ”That was tough,
................ and I was pushed all the way
by William who was riding really well ...........as
some of the slower riders were so far off the
pace it was dangerous.

Podium
Finish Closes Manx
Weather
Conditions were changeable for the final days
racing ........ with showers predicted. Davy was
out on the Strangford Holiday Park/BLRC 250cc
Honda in the Lightweight Race, the first time
he has ridden a stroker on the mountain circuit
in seven years ............ “It
was a good run, I was really pleased to get a
finish, ............. I struggled to keep the
pace as my gearing was not quite right. On the
final lap and a half the wee bike was going off
so I decided to make sure I finished

Morgan
Back on Form on Home Soil
After giving Walderstown a miss ........ and give
the bikes (especially the 250) a much needed overhaul,
Kells was next on the calendar and Davy was looking
to build on ........ his results at the Southern
100........ “What
a brilliant weekend, after the Southern my confidence
was definitely on the up and I carried it on ........
Everything seemed to just fall in to place and
if we ........ the 600 I could be even higher
up the order in that class, although it is a great
wee bike to ride. |

Four
Starts, Four Top Tens
The
final Irish Road Race of the year at Killalane
was to be Davy Morgan’s ........ and would
see him back near the top of the leader board.
With another months recovery on his injured shoulder
he felt much more comfortable ..................
Speaking afterwards, “Its been
a tiring weekend, I am feeling a bit stiff and
sore now, but at least I got four finishes from
four starts today, which ............ The shoulder
is a lot better and I am probably up to about
90% at the moment. |

Morgan
sets Outright Lap Record
For the final outing of the year Davy Morgan
Racing headed south for the Inaugural Tullyallen
Road Races (Boyne 100). It was hoped that Davy
would continue with the form showed at Killalane
and finish the season on a high ..........
before the race was stopped he was within a
second of the leader, had set a new outright
lap record that was two seconds a lap quicker
than anyone else, but had to settle for fourth
place, when a podium or even a win was a possibility. |

First
International Win for Morgan
The
first big one was next for the Davy Morgan
Racing Team supported by Touchwood Consulting,
Investasure Financial Services and Ballygowan
& District Road Racing Supporters Club.
..........
I was now in the lead of an International
Road Race and it was a case of getting the
little Honda home in one piece. It held together
and I took the chequered flag first despite
at last lap charge from Sammy (Dobson), which
was an amazing feeling and one I will never
forget.
