Morgan wins Superbike Race at Bush
The Irish Championship Open Race was next for Davy and on the Strangford Holiday Park GSXR1000 Suzuki it was to be a stunning display in a fantastic race ........
A delighted, but tired Davy said afterwards, “I want to dedicate that win to my dad, Stanley who died last year.” He continued, ”That was tough, ................ and I was pushed all the way by William who was riding really well ...........as some of the slower riders were so far off the pace it was dangerous.

 

2009
Podium Finish Closes Manx
Weather Conditions were changeable for the final days racing ........ with showers predicted. Davy was out on the Strangford Holiday Park/BLRC 250cc Honda in the Lightweight Race, the first time he has ridden a stroker on the mountain circuit in seven years ............
“It was a good run, I was really pleased to get a finish, ............. I struggled to keep the pace as my gearing was not quite right. On the final lap and a half the wee bike was going off so I decided to make sure I finished

 

2008
Morgan Back on Form on Home Soil
After giving Walderstown a miss ........ and give the bikes (especially the 250) a much needed overhaul, Kells was next on the calendar and Davy was looking to build on ........ his results at the Southern 100........
“What a brilliant weekend, after the Southern my confidence was definitely on the up and I carried it on ........ Everything seemed to just fall in to place and if we ........ the 600 I could be even higher up the order in that class, although it is a great wee bike to ride.

 

2007
Four Starts, Four Top Tens
The final Irish Road Race of the year at Killalane was to be Davy Morgan’s ........ and would see him back near the top of the leader board. With another months recovery on his injured shoulder he felt much more comfortable .................. Speaking afterwards, “Its been a tiring weekend, I am feeling a bit stiff and sore now, but at least I got four finishes from four starts today, which ............ The shoulder is a lot better and I am probably up to about 90% at the moment.

 

2006
Morgan sets Outright Lap Record
For the final outing of the year Davy Morgan Racing headed south for the Inaugural Tullyallen Road Races (Boyne 100). It was hoped that Davy would continue with the form showed at Killalane and finish the season on a high ..........
before the race was stopped he was within a second of the leader, had set a new outright lap record that was two seconds a lap quicker than anyone else, but had to settle for fourth place, when a podium or even a win was a possibility.

 

2005

First International Win for Morgan
The first big one was next for the Davy Morgan Racing Team supported by Touchwood Consulting, Investasure Financial Services and Ballygowan & District Road Racing Supporters Club. ..........
I was now in the lead of an International Road Race and it was a case of getting the little Honda home in one piece. It held together and I took the chequered flag first despite at last lap charge from Sammy (Dobson), which was an amazing feeling and one I will never forget.
